Causeway Construction Needed

This article appeared in The Norwester on February 4, 2016. Government is looking for a way to save on expenditures. The Causeway is a no-brainer. Given that the majority of residents of Long Island would probably not entertain relocation, and given that Government,( with no money budgeted for relocation for any town) would entertain relocating Long Island anyway, placing the 1/2 kilometer Causeway across Long Tickle will not cost any more than it does to run the ferry service. Probably less. So the question remains,
           "Why Would Government Delay 
            Starting This Project Immediately?"
